Beware of the bunny

"Beware of the bunny" is a card game created for the GMTK Game Jam 2023 with the theme "Roles Reversed". It's based on the memory card game but instead of looking for two same cards, you need to avoid them.

I was not able to finish some menus and art on time but I hope you will still have fun playing the game :)

HOW TO PLAY :

You have to use the mouse to return 2 cards at the same time or click on "Stop the harvest" to end the game and score what you already gained. The more you keep harvesting, the more you can score points but you're risking to lose everthing if you encounter the bunnies.

• Every 3 turns, 4 more vegetables are added to the board automatically.
• Only one bunny is present on the board at the beginning of the game.
• When a bunny is added to the board, it's the only card that appears without coming from the deck of cards. Keep an eye on it, you should be able to spot it!
• All the cards coming from the deck are vegetables.

Cards combinations:

• 2 different vegetables -> you gain points for your harvest
• 2 cards with the same vegetables -> a rabbit is added to the board somewhere and ate the two vegetables before you had the time to score. Keep an eye on it, you can see it appears.
• 1 bunny + 1 vegetables -> the bunny ate the vegetables, no score but hey, you still have your score and your harvest intact.
• 2 bunny -> all your harvest is gone, damn bunny !!! You should have stopped before it was too late!
